Mulberry River - Plantation Hoschton
Case: Turf is thinning out in certain areas due to increasing shade from trees and poor drainage. Would like to keep grass where possible but create an open space to enjoy. The homeowners love outdoor activities, playing catch and games with the children. Want to create outdoor rooms and add more pretty plants. Also work in a batting cage, fire pit and zip line if possible
Solution: Create a sweeping paver patio that includes multiple circle design element that tie in a circular fire pit. The patio has access from both exit doors from the house and is situated where it does not take away from useable grass and play areas. Integrate a creek bed in for drainage with several pockets for flowering plants. A flagstone path will come off one side of the patio and lead through planting beds to a batting cage that is tucked away inside a expanded fenced in area. Also build a three section cedar pergola that incorporates swings for the children and adults. Highlight all areas and light the paths with Kichler professional landscape lighting.
